4-6PM Fun Market: Arts, Crafts, and Baked Goods by Kids

Do you like arts, crafts, and baked goods? Well some of Louisville's most talented youth are selling some! All vendors in our Fun Market are between ages 6 and 16. They will be donating some of their proceeds to benefit the Louisville Rescue Mission. Every person who purchases from the vendors gets entered in our raffle for free school supplies. If you're interested in being a vendor please SIGN UP HERE.

The Natural View by Brendan Taylor

Brendan Taylor is a rising sophomore attending Eastern High School (EHS). He has always been interested in drawing and painting. He has participated in several groups and activities involving art, beginning with the advanced art classes at Crosby Middle School under the guidance of Mr. Kevin Ashford. As a middle schooler, he was invited to join the CFAC program through the Louisville Visual Art (LVA) Association, and his painting of a beach scene was the People’s Choice Award winner at his eighth grade art show. As a high schooler, he now attends classes at The Academy of LVA, and is grateful to Ms. Wilma Bethel for her creative teaching and helpful feedback. He engages in art club at his high school, and was asked to join the art community at EHS as an upper level art student. He enjoys working with a variety of different media, but mainly focuses on oil pastels, colored pencil, and graphite. His inspirations primarily stem from music, however other artist’s works and nature are also important in his creative process.

 8-9PM Live Music by Amarriah Russell

Born in September 2003, rising in Louisville, KY. It all started with Lanita Neals Dance Company in 2006, where Amarriah's stage fright grew to a desire, she learned many aspects of music, friendship, and partnership. In 2009, she performed at Fourth Street Live. At the early age of six Amarriah would freestyle and dance for just about anyone. Music made her physically and emotionally free. As she continued music,  in 2014 she joined an organization, AMPED, that taught a variety of music attributes, experienced multiple performances and gained a lot of valuable friends, she calls family. In 2016 Amarriah performed at Forecastle in 1200's youth choir, "an awesome experience " she stated. With hopes to becoming a great artist and positive role model Amarriah continues entertainment. 

9:30-10:30PM Live Music by Anemic Royalty

Anemic Royalty is a garage rock band from Louisville, KY. The four piece band is made up of Jeremy Rochman (guitar/vox), Seamus Coyle (Guitar), Oden Curry (bass), and Miles Rochman (Drums). Taking influence from bands such as: Nirvana, Royal Blood, The Districts, and Wilco; this band covers a wide sonic range but boils down to loud, catchy, melodic rock that will be sure to give you a good face melting!
