Where can you find music, fun workshops for kids and adults, an invasion of 7 ft tall puppets, and beer? ReSurfaced, of course.
This Sunday, October 5, come down to ReSurfaced and support the Squallis Puppeteers. One dollar from every beer sold will go to benefit this fun, creative organization that helps us “imagine what is possible, create new worlds, and uncover the stories we all have to tell.”
The benefit will feature a finger puppet workshop for kids of all ages. And, the puppeteers will put on a live puppet-making demonstration on-site throughout the day that will culminate into a huge dragon and puppet parade. The best part – you can participate in the making of this dragon and learn the art of puppet-making.
So, when your friends ask, “What’d you do this weekend?” you can say, “I made a 30-ft long dragon and paraded it around downtown while enjoying some fine Louisville craft beer.” How cool is that?
